Samuel Rosenberg
LCSW
Therapist
Sam Rosenberg (he/him) is a licensed clinical social worker in both Indiana and Kentucky. He believes in the innate capacity of human beings to heal, and that our suffering is not separate from our social and political environment. In therapy, Sam seeks to work collaboratively with his clients, and to use his knowledge and care as rudders to arrive at a place of greater peace. In the words of Joe Strummer, "people can change anything they want to."
Sam operates under the assumption that you know yourself best, and uses a client-centered approach which draws on his clinical experience working in a variety of settings to apply interventions that are going to be best for you. Sam has particular experience and knowledge around OCD and other anxiety disorders, but also has a passion for working with trauma survivors of all stripes. Sam utilizes modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Narrative therapy to facilitate treatment, but ultimately believes that the therapeutic relationship is the biggest determining factor in successful therapy and is willing to be flexible with your needs around how treatment looks.
Sam earned his master's degree in social work from the University of Maryland in 2020. He has worked in a variety of settings, from community mental health to partial hospitalization programs to college counseling centers. In his free time he is a very mediocre basketball player and enjoys spending time with his pet rabbit.
