Heather Terra
LPCA, RYT
Therapist
As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in Somatic Psychotherapy and Mindfulness, I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth through a holistic mind-body approach. My practice is grounded in empathy, genuine connection, and a steadfast belief in the transformative power of counseling, introspection, and healing.
My journey toward supporting others began early and has been enriched by diverse experiences. While earning my B.A. in Psychology, I volunteered at a suicide prevention hotline, which deepened my commitment to helping those in need. After graduation, I immersed myself in holistic wellness, earning my meditation teacher certification from the Nalanda Institute and completing 300 hours of yoga teacher training with Kripalu, Laughing Lotus, Egg of the Universe, and Meghan Currie. These experiences fueled my passion for the mind-body connection and inspired me to pursue my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.
Today, I blend the insights of somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and yoga into an integrative therapeutic approach that empowers clients to overcome challenges and cultivate resilience. I believe that healing is always possible and that life can be filled with joy and authenticity. Together, we will explore the depths of your true self, unlock your immense potential, and create a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
