“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep
People are going back and forth across the
Doorsill where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep”
-Jelaluddin Rumi
Brandon (he/him) believes that being human is a messy business. Yet, through the messiness of life, we can find the doorway to the life we really want. Through the on-again and off-again struggles to stay awake, Brandon has found that everything in our “human” lives has a part to play in our continual journey of healing and wholeness.
Through clinical, psychological, trauma-informed care, and spiritual training, (along with the heavy influences of Depth Psychology with the power of creative Myth stories shared and told throughout human history) Brandon believes the path of healing and wholeness is not going around our wounds and pain, but by courageously, creatively, and intuitively going through them with compassion, mindfulness, acceptance, and embracing forgiveness for self and others.
Through the practices of meditation, sacred ritual, breathwork, and story-telling, Brandon will work with you and guide you in healing difficult horizons of the past that may include trauma, grief / loss, and relational pain. Also, while uncovering hope with firm eyes in the moment, there will be a gazing into an unfolding horizon of an unknown adventurous future.
When Brandon is not journeying and working with others, he is romping through any place that is wild in nature by way of hiking and backpacking. There are also the frequent stops along the way for the love of music, good food and drink, art, poetry, and the guiltless pleasures of pipe-smoking.
